It's something that exists in every person, governed by specific neural pathways. By learning how to circulate it through your body, you can augment your physical capabilities to a degree.

For example, I knew someone whose sorcery was teleportation, and another person who could create bolts of energy.
Oh. Craft is sorta that way with the augmentations, Scissors being able to buff speed, Rock craft can buff defenses... [ So that's a little familiar in the sense but.. blinks like "UM?" at the sorcery examples. ] Create.. bolts of energy..? Like.. lightning bolts?
Something like that. I's been a long time since I've seen Azami-san in action, but he formed them in his hands and attacked that way. He was extremely proficient in close quarters combat, to give you an idea of his style.
There are people with more ranged styles, of course. Manifesting and throwing bombs, flinging elements, stuff like that. Everyone has their own way of using their sorcery.
