Well, you need to know the appropriate ritual to cast the spell. Which is pretty straight forward since it comes with you making a sign for your craft. So, since I'm Scissors Craft...

I just do the sign for scissors, with a bit of some gestures, and it's enough to be able to cast.
At least in battle, Scissors Craft heavily focuses on raw damage that can target multiple or hit multiple against one target. But it's good in other ways too, like being able to buff your allies speed in order to attack first.

The magic damage that comes from it could hit like a blade but.. I think it's more accurate to think of it as scissors?
I was the fastest in my group, so I mostly took the lead and was able to attack first. But it was good to help boost my group's speed to be faster than the Sadnesses in general.
[ A brief pause, catching on a bit quicker here.] Sadnesses were.. monsters? Created as physical manifestations of intense negative emotions. It was common to run into them in certain areas.

It happens.. not really naturally but, you could say it's an unintentional thing. It doesn't happen often, though it has more recently because the state that the country is in.
