[ It takes them a moment, probably remember some things via a few interactions before they start to clarify sheepishly. ]
Craft is what makes most if not all the magic we use back where I'm from. Everyone can use it, no matter your age or where you're from. Though there are a few specifics, most of them being separated by the three main types of Rock, Paper and Scissors.
[ yes it's just straight up rock paper scissors ] I'm primarily Scissors Craft, for example. ...Um, I'd show you but... haven't really been able to use any of my crafts since I've woken up here.
Well, you need to know the appropriate ritual to cast the spell. Which is pretty straight forward since it comes with you making a sign for your craft. So, since I'm Scissors Craft...
[ Their gloved hand raises, shifting into the "scissors" sign that comes with a good 'ole game of rock papers scissors. But as they do, they make the motion with a snap of their fingers too. A little showy. ]
I just do the sign for scissors, with a bit of some gestures, and it's enough to be able to cast.
At least in battle, Scissors Craft heavily focuses on raw damage that can target multiple or hit multiple against one target. But it's good in other ways too, like being able to buff your allies speed in order to attack first.
[ Multi good uses! ]
The magic damage that comes from it could hit like a blade but.. I think it's more accurate to think of it as scissors?
I was the fastest in my group, so I mostly took the lead and was able to attack first. But it was good to help boost my group's speed to be faster than the Sadnesses in general.
[ A brief pause, catching on a bit quicker here.] Sadnesses were.. monsters? Created as physical manifestations of intense negative emotions. It was common to run into them in certain areas.
[ It's a bit alarming to hear so they don't blame her for that surprise. ]
It happens.. not really naturally but, you could say it's an unintentional thing. It doesn't happen often, though it has more recently because the state that the country is in.
...They look nice? [ He isn't an art expert... ] I think, a lot of it is to try and.. warm up the room? Since he'll be coming back to the room frequently, may as well make it nice.. or something like that. They look like they could be pricey pieces.
[ NOT THE SANTA HAUNTING... A shake of their head. ]
I haven't. I've seen a few festivals in my travels. Vaugarde's... Portia's.. Ka Bue's.. they all have a good range of different kinds of festivals but none like the ones here. I think Ka Bue might have one regarding the New Year but other than that, nothing else.
I've been in the country Vaugarde the longest so, probably there. But I wouldn't mind seeing Ka Bue again.
[ Yeah. ]
Love Arena Day is where everyone battles to give the most perfect gift to their loved ones. The one who makes the other cry wins Love Arena Day. It's a pretty.. emotional festival, I guess?
[ He personally thinks it's weird. What a strange festival to have! ]
As someone in white makes their way around, but with the shape it's so obviously clear who it is. They catch sight of Neverah and jog over to her. As a gloved hand tilts their hat up, Siffrin does look a bit different. If having two eyes now and their black dyed hair is anything to go by. ]
Oh.. yeah. [ Sheepish. ] During my travels, a lot of people would question my bright hair and ask where I came from so I just. Ended up dyeing it to fit in?
WEEKEND 0, SATURDAY
Is this place.. used for something? It looks like a dock but.
[ Obviously no water. Or boats. ]
no subject
[it's just more fog. wack.]
no subject
[ so wack. ] At least there are more places but. Looks like we're still centered around the same area.
no subject
[ain't that just the way...]
If the fog is some kind of illusion, it's a strong one.
no subject
[ There is surely context here. ]

WEEK 0, WEDNESDAY POST-MINI EVENT.
Hello Neverah. Finished up decorating?
no subject
Yes. I made sure not to order anything too large, so it was easy enough to put in my room.
[she watched people suffer with large furniture and decided she could live with just a bed.]
And yourself?
no subject
[ Just offers Marcoh up like a helper horse. No but he has been kind and offering so!!! Use the big fella... ]
Ah, I didn't really do much decorating myself... just helped around. Jacopo did though? He hung some.. art pieces? On the walls.
no subject
[she probably will not, but it's fine. either way:]
I see. [and after picking up on the question mark:] What kind of art?

WEEK 1, TUESDAY
Neverah. Hello. Were you exploring?
[ It is just about to hit night time for Whoville, meaning spooky Halloween will leave and it'll almost be fireworks soon. ]
no subject
Yes. This place is strange, but... I don't entirely dislike it. [a beat] Don't eat the food, though.
no subject
The food? More cursed ones? [ Looking back towards the stalls... ] It's really making it hard to enjoy new food.

[she does not want to be haunted by santa again]
Have you seen anything like these festivities before?

What about you?
no subject
[a little shrug.]
Most of our celebrations are religious in nature.
no subject
[ Ah, that they nod. ]
Vaugarde is the same way. Majority of theirs are pretty religious but Love Arena Day in winter is one I remember to be pretty different.

[blinks]
What is a - Love Arena?

Hello Neverah. Long time no sea. [ A wink. ]

Hello. [...] Did you dye your hair?
no subject
The darkless isn't appearing already, is it?? The craft dye is supposed to last pretty long..
no subject
Well - yes, it's obvious. It's entirely different from the normal color.
