[ Here we are at the soundstage! Siffrin in his regular default garb per the norm as he explores around through the rows of chairs. Peering at the various musical instruments once they reach the stage.

Right now he's staring at... a violin set? With a contemplating puzzled look, gloved hand at his lips as he mumbles quietly to himself. ]

What was the word for it again..?

[My dude, you're going to succumb to the heat if you wear that at the beach, golly]

The word for what? The violin?

[Akihiko inevitably heard the mumbling, yup]

[ Maybe so, maybe so. But it brings them comfort enough, they can sweat a little. ]

..Oh! Yeah, the violin. [ Right, that's the word! ] A lot of instruments here.. you think there's some musical people in our group?

There must be. They'll get here before the day ends.

[Looks like Akihiko isn't one of them, because he's not taking any of the instruments...instead, he's poking a little at the sound mixing machines, until he accidentally makes a synthesized trombone noise way too loud. Akihiko manages to stop it after five seconds or so]

They better get here quick.

[Before someone causes chaos. Are you our musically-inclined savior, Siffrin?]

[ Though, since everyone seems so eager to explore, it'll probably be much sooner than later. Siffrin continues to idly watch, keeping to themselves like a quiet little triangle of white.

Though they do jump suddenly at the loud noise, oh my Stars. ]

..Least they seem to be working?

[ Nope. Not a single bit. Considering they are keeping their distance still instead of plucking or playing a instrument. ]

[Welp, we're doomed, then! Akihiko has no musical skills either. Deciding the sound mixer could end in blowing their ears off if he presses something wrong again, Akihiko peeks around in the instruments, until he finds an otomatone, and shows the dang thing to Siffrin]

I don't know! Looks fun though?

[ Pokes at it... oh it makes a weird pitchy sound. Weird!! ]

No way this is an instrument...

[Instruments are things made of wood or brass and the such and make music, not...pitchy sounds. This object doesn't fit such a definition at all]

[ It's so weird! So strange! But it's fun? Even if they aren't overly music inclined, it's fun to hold and just press randomly along the neck of the instrument.

It sounds like one though. Somebody probably knows how to use it properly.

[Yup, Akihiko, it is a face on the round part. Accept the goofy thing, it's fun]

[ Holds it up, squeezing it so it opens its mouth and makes a long note sound. ] It's like it's singing with the face there.

[Huh, so you would. Akihiko takes from his pocket a couple clams he got out of the sand with Basilio like an hour ago]

[Akihiko isn't above some impromptu joking, bless him. He's completely unaware 'clams' is also slang for money in some places, he just gave whatever he had on him]
