The Change deity was known for being too lazy to do much with their power back in Vaugarde. Though.. I haven't really experienced any deity to do much to help.
[ It's said with thought, more in a they're trying not to expect too much. Trying not to have Expectations but.. hope is a little thing, isn't it? ] ..Hopefully they can here.
I am a cleric, so I know all too well. Direct intervention is rare, and typically limited to circumstances where the god themselves feels their interests will be served by intervening.
So the question is, why has this god reached that conclusion? What does he want from us?
I'm an acolyte, I serve a goddess and she grants me the use of some divine magics in exchange for my service. Healing, helpful spells, the means to fight enemies, that sort of thing.
One of my group members Mirabelle, she's a Housemaiden for the House of Change, she's got some pretty useful healing and shield spells. Without her, our group would definitely be struggling in our battles. I can only imagine how many would rely on your support.
[ With that to compare, Shadowheart sounds impressive. ]
[ And because they have gotten a weird reaction to it before, they explain. ] They're... physical manifestations of intense negative emotions. They attack everything they see and, even when they're defeated they can reappear again.
If only. [ A small nod, it's.. not a comforting thought that's for sure. ]
Sadnesses have always been around but, they appear more in dire situations. [ Like with war, for example. ] So with what Vaugarde is going through... it probably won't calm down until we finish our mission.
I don't remember too much of the details, yeah. I know we were on our way to, but everything else is.. [ A half shrug. ] Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
It seems true of some of us, at least. That the details are murky. Perhaps that means you went quickly and painlessly. I suppose that could be a blessing.

[ Though the rest she says sounds right, nodding a little. ]
..We'd probably have to figure out what on your own, too. Unless that's something those three can share with us but...

It does sound quite similar. And what sort of things do you battle?

[Lady Shar would certainly be interested in that.]
Concerning to think our sorrows could become so violent. I only hope peace can come to those grieving so terribly.
