[YIPPEE MEMSHARES lmk if you have any pref/cws for a return mem!!
absolutely wild how this entire memory starts off so lighthearted, and then swerves into a targeted nuke. mizu is quiet for a moment after the memory comes to its conclusion, thinking... before turning to siffrin and saying, gravely:]
[ I'M GOOD WITH ANYTHING give me whatever you wish hehe and I really did pick this memory thinking it might target Mizu specifically so I'm really glad it worked out that way.
Siffrin looks fond at the sight of Odile, older ma'am in her forties who still has such bite to her words is a friend that everyone needs honestly. Their head perks, blinking at that grave tone and it just.. a puff of a laugh. Yeah they STRONGLY agree. ]
They really seem as if they don't fear anything. [ Those kids really knew no fear... nightmarish. ]
[ Mizu is so valid. Odile voice: take care of them, Siffrin voice: WHY.... ]
We have a preteen that travels with our group, but Odile has no struggles when it comes to handling them. Honestly, I think it's because they respect her a lot more than they do me. [ Said in a way of "I really don't understand kids." ]
When I came across the group, it was three of them together already. I jumped into battle to help deal with a threat they were in the middle of facing.
[ Thankfully, they can remember it. ] They were on a quest to stop the King, who is spreading a curse that freezes everyone and everything it touches in time. Odile said she joined them because she felt like it shouldn't be up to, in her words, the younger folks to deal with a task that big.
..I wasn't really doing much myself, so I tagged along.
Yeah, outside Odile the rest are younger than me too. [ Their own mid-late twenties age. ] It is. That'd be Mirabelle. She's a Housemaiden for the House of Change.
Religion belief. [ And like reading from a script.. ] It's practiced in most of Vaugarde whose ideals are about change in both its practitioners and in the world as a whole.
It encourages its practitioners to constantly change things such as their appearances, personalities, interests, and aspects of their life. [ A small shrug after. ] It's not the beliefs I follow so this is only what I've remembered from Mirabelle explaining it to me.
WEEK 3, MONDAY

It sounds less like a religion and more like an excuse to be fickle.

[ The way they're sure Mirabelle would try so hard to try and get Mizu to understand how it's more than that. ]
