[ Quietly, Siffrin will come down and sit by her. The heavy air doesn't bother them at least. Doesn't say anything just yet, or reach out to touch her, just looks to her. Sweet Koharu, really going through the motions... ]
Koharu doesn't so much as flinch when they reach out to her, though; she merely looks up enough to see Siffrin, and her expression falls, wordlessly averting her gaze back down. It isn't clear whether she doesn't know what to say, or has nothing to say, but she doesn't shoo them away. ]
[ Well, she doesn't shoo them away, and even if she doesn't or has nothing to say.. that's fine. It isn't as if they can say a word themselves. They keep to themselves otherwise, fiddling with something in one hand as they look out. Today is going to be a long.. long day. ]
[ When she speaks up, they peer over, their single eye settling on her and they look up. There have been so many times where they would sit in silence with Uruha, just taking in one another's company, not feeling the need to fill the air. It feels so much more lonelier without him. Their fingers curl around the item in their grasp a bit more.
Unfortunately, there is no voice to them. But the thoughts that bubble up do speak for them. (I have nowhere else to be.) And even if they did, they couldn't leave her by herself. ]
[ Well... she understands. She's here because there's nowhere for her to go, too, but unwilling to remain where Uruha had left them. Koharu simply looks up again, eyes their fidgeting hand, and offers a quiet: ]
... Okay.
[ She's awful company right now, she feels, but maybe being alone is worse. ]

A while passes; who can say how long. (She isn't keeping track.) Eventually, at some point though, Koharu does speak up, her voice small and hoarse: ]
You don't have to stay here, if... you have somewhere else to be.
