One of my companions back home is pretty similar in a couple ways. [ Said warmly. ] A very people person, trying to please everyone, ready to offer a hug if you so much as need it. ..I do see a bit of him in him.

His childhood was.. a bit lonely, enough so he Changed. Became a person that's loud, friendly, someone you'd want to be with. I know he wants to be seen as someone you could be happy with.
